BRIEF

Design a compact Berlin studio as a modern sanctuary for daily restoration within a limited floor plate. Vertical height is harnessed to create a private, elevated sleeping platform over an integrated wardrobe/storage spine, reserving the ground plane for high-use activities and making the few square metres genuinely sufficient for rest and everyday living.

CONCEPT

A recharge-oriented interior where biophilic green accents and natural textures mediate a restrained tech-industrial palette (blackened metal, clean lines), translating Berlin’s urban character into calm domesticity. A custom elevated bed intensifies the nest condition; material and lighting layers organise programme and circulation without partitions, maintaining a measured, protective spatial hierarchy.
